On the transition side, free

The account moves in an afternoon. The question is what arrives with it.

Ten questions about what an incoming owner actually receives when a territory is recut or an account executive leaves. Answer them from memory, in about two minutes, and you get a map of what travels and what stays behind.

Ten questions, three answers each, about two minutes. Answered from memory, computed in this browser tab, nothing typed here is sent anywhere unless you send it.

The ten questions

What does the incoming owner actually receive?

Think of the last account that changed hands in your team. Answer for that one, not for the policy.

01Can a new owner open one place and see the current state of each account they are taking over, without asking a colleague first?
02Is what was committed to the customer, on scope, dates and service, written down somewhere other than the contract?
03Before an account moves, does anyone other than the outgoing owner check that what is written there is still true?
04Does the new owner get told who to call first at each account, and in which order?
05Is it recorded how each important contact prefers to be reached, and when they actually reply?
06Apart from the outgoing owner, does anyone in your organisation already have a working relationship at those accounts?
07Is it written down why the customer bought, in their reasoning rather than in your product terms?
08Is it recorded what was agreed verbally during the sale and never made it into a document?
09For each account, is it recorded who really decides, and who can quietly stop a decision?
10Is it recorded what was conceded to win the account, and what was asked for in return?

This is not a mark out of anything. It is a map of what arrives with the account when it changes hands, read layer by layer.

The three answers the new owner feels first

One question to put to your team on Monday
handedover, a biowissen product. Answered from memory and computed in your browser. This is a map of what travels, not a measurement, and it is yours.

The PDF is produced by your browser from this page. Nothing is sent unless you use the form below, which carries the map and your three weakest answers, nothing else.

Want a second reading of this map?

We read it and reply within a week with a straight answer on whether it is worth your time. One click; the details you gave at the start are used.

If the moment in front of you is a departure or a recut territory, the work is to take the reasoning out of the person's head while they are still in the room, account by account, and we take that conversation when you raise it. If the seam you cross most often is a won deal moving to the people who deliver it, the baseline measures that side on your own data, in your own browser tab, with nothing installed. The baseline is the won deal side of the same question.
